Plàncton Diving is the only diving firm officially recognized by the Terres de l’Ebre Biosphere Reserve.
Thanks to its exceptional landscapes, Mediterranean ecosystems and biodiversity conservation model, the Terres de l’Ebre region was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in May 2013.
Biosphere Reserves are areas which aim to find a balance between cultural and biological diversity and economic and social development via our relationship with nature.
We are extremely proud to have received the Biosphere certificate for our commitment to the local territory and environment. We were awarded two certificates, one for our work in environmental education and one for our work in the tourist sector.
First prize in the Emprèn en Femení awards
We won first prize in the Emprèn en Femení awards given by the Tarragona Council in 2012 for female-run firms with an original and innovative business model.
Qualitat Ebrenca 2014 award
Qualitat Ebrenca 2014 prize awarded by the Associació d’Amics i Amigues de l’Ebre to local businesses.
Young Business Award for excellent leadership
Premi Jove (Young Business Award) for excellent moral and/or environmental leadership awarded by the Young International Chamber of Commerce in Catalonia in 2014.
